Word came yesterday that a number of Disneyland attractions that have been closed for some time, will reopen this summer. With construction of Star Wars land proving to be more invasive at Disneyland than its sister project at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, more park features and attractions needed to be closed and tweaked to accommodate construction.
Disney announced today that reservations are now open for dessert parties at both Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
The dessert parties take place at the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and offer a wonderful combination of great views of the holiday fireworks shows, as well as, some amazing holiday treats to much on.
Disney is taking Orange County to court over property tax assessments for a number of Disney World properties. Disney is arguing that the 2016 assessments, made by the county in order to calculate property tax owed, were too high and were subject to unjust increases. Some of the properties in question are the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as, a number of Disney World resorts.

A few weeks back, I wrote about rumors that were swirling about possible changes coming to Epcot’s Universe of Energy pavilion after Disney filed for a permit to remove a drainage canal behind it. Today, we hear more about that and a number of other potential Epcot changes.
