The BFG DVD and Blu-Ray Coming Soon: What You Need to Know

the bfg dvd blu rayIt was announced this week that Disney’s summer release, The BFG, will be released on DVD Digital HD and Blu-Ray on December 6th. It will also be available on Disney Movies Anywhere on December 6th.

There was no date given yet for The BFG’s streaming release on Netflix.

The BFG hit theaters on July 1st and didn’t do as well as some had hoped it would as a high-profile Disney summer release.

Here is a quick rundown of the series plot (from Disney Movies):

Disney presents a Roald Dahl classic directed by Steven Spielberg. In an imaginative tale filled with magic, wonder and unexpected friendship, a young girl is launched on an enormous adventure when she crosses paths with a mysterious being called the Big Friendly Giant.

There will be a number of bonus features with December’s release. Among these bonuses on the The BFG DVD+Blu-ray+Digital HD are:
