The Big Thunder Trail at Disneyland is Back Open!

Last Updated on: February 12th, 2019

After a year+ closure, Disneyland’s Big Thunder Trail reopened this morning.  The path, which connects Fantasyland and Frontierland was closed in January 2016 as part of the Star Wars Land construction project. The trail is not directly part of Star Wars Land, but will offer entrances to the new park area when it opens in 2019, which is why it had to close for  some time.

Our friends over at InsidetheMagic have some great images of the reopened Big Thunder Trail from earlier today. Definitely worth a look.

Please see our full listing of Disneyland attraction closings and reopen dates here for a full rundown of important dates.
