Black Panther to be First Movie Shown in a Movie Theater in Saudi Arabia in 35 Years

It was announced this week, that Disney’s superhero mega-hit Black Panther will be the very first movie shown in a movie theater in Saudi Arabia since the 1980’s.

For 35 years, movie theaters have been banned in Saudi Arabia but after a push to soften up the ultra-conservative country, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is allowing a new AMC theater in Riyadh.
