ESPN Extends Contract of College Basketball Icon Dick Vitale

Disney-owned ESPN announced today that they have extended the contract of their longtime college basketball analyst Dick Vitale through the 2019-2020 season.  The abundantly enthusiastic basketball personality has been with the sports channel since its inaugural year (1979-1980) and called the station’s first major NCAA basketball game (Wisconsin at DePaul on 12/5/79).
