About Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Luau Cove
Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show was a delightful and entertaining luau-style dinner show that was located at Luau Cove within Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The show celebrated the rich culture and traditions of the South Pacific islands, offering guests an immersive and festive experience.
The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show took place in an open-air, covered theater surrounded by lush tropical foliage, creating an authentic Polynesian ambiance. Guests were greeted with a warm Hawaiian welcome as they entered the cove, setting the tone for an evening of fun and celebration.
During the show, guests were treated to a captivating performance featuring hula dancers, fire-knife dancers, and other talented performers showcasing traditional and contemporary Polynesian music and dance. The energetic and colorful show highlighted the beauty and spirit of the South Pacific, transporting guests to a tropical paradise.
In addition to the fantastic entertainment, guests could indulge in a delicious all-you-care-to-enjoy feast inspired by the flavors of the islands. The menu typically included a variety of dishes, such as roasted chicken, pulled pork, BBQ ribs, seasonal vegetables, tropical fruits, and island-style desserts.
Unfortunately, Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show closed in 2020 and Luau Cove has since been removed in favor of the Polynesian’s new DVC tower. While it provided many guests with cherished memories and a taste of the tropics, it is no longer available as a dining experience at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
