Last Updated on: March 26th, 2024

The Dixieland Band Stand was a former entertainment venue at Disneyland in California. It operated from 1955 to 1961 and was located in the area that is now known as New Orleans Square.

The Dixieland Band Stand featured live performances by traditional Dixieland jazz bands. Guests could enjoy the lively and upbeat music performed by talented musicians, creating a festive atmosphere reminiscent of New Orleans and the jazz culture.

The venue provided a space for guests to relax, listen to the music, and even dance along if they wished. It added to the overall ambiance and theme of New Orleans Square, which is designed to resemble the historic French Quarter of New Orleans.

However, over time, the entertainment offerings at Disneyland have evolved and changed, and the Dixieland Band Stand was eventually replaced by new attractions and experiences within New Orleans Square.
