“Honey, I Shrunk the Audience!” followed the misadventures of Professor Wayne Szalinski, portrayed by Rick Moranis in the movies, as he accidentally shrinks the audience down to the size of insects with his latest invention. Guests were invited to join the Szalinski family in a comically chaotic and oversized adventure through the giant-sized world of the laboratory.
The 4D theater show featured a combination of 3D film projection, in-theater special effects, and practical effects to create an immersive and entertaining experience. Guests experienced wind gusts, mist, and vibrations in their seats, adding to the feeling of being shrunk down and immersed in the fantastical world of the movie.

One of its claims to fame was that it is the only Disney World attraction that was replaced by the same attraction it replaced (Captain EO).
