About MuppetVision 3D
“MuppetVision 3D” was a 3D film and live-action show that was presented at Disney’s California Adventure Park, which is adjacent to Disneyland in California. It operated from 2001 to 2014.
MuppetVision 3D featured a combination of 3D film technology and live-action elements to bring the beloved Muppet characters to life. The show took place in the MuppetVision Theater, where guests could enjoy a comedic and immersive experience alongside Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and other Muppet favorites.
The show incorporated 3D effects, animatronics, and other special effects to create an interactive and entertaining experience for the audience. Guests were invited to wear 3D glasses and be part of the zany world of the Muppets.
Unfortunately, in 2014, MuppetVision 3D closed its doors at Disney’s California Adventure Park to make way for a new attraction called “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion,” which is a live musical stage show based on Disney’s animated film “Frozen.”
