In the song, Rapunzel sings about her desire to see the floating lanterns that appear in the sky every year on her birthday. She sings about how she’s spent her whole life trapped in a tower, but now she wants to experience something new and exciting. The song is upbeat and joyful, with Rapunzel expressing her sense of wonder and anticipation.

The song was written by composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater, and it was nominated for Best Original Song at the 68th Golden Globe Awards.
