Disney announced today their Earth Day 2016 plans for Disney World. On Friday, April 22nd, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be hosting “Party for the Planet”- a series of engaging eco-awareness activities throughout the park. There will also be Earth Day-themed photo ops in the Discovery Island are of the park.

Of course, this is all in addition to the rare Earth Day appearance of Jiminy Cricket that I wrote about recently.

More information about Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s “Party for the Planet” can be found here.
