Disney is going all out with their superhero overlay of Disneyland this summer. The summer marketing campaign is titled “Summer of Heroes” and features a number of Marvel integrations including the opening of the new Guardians of the Galaxy- Mission: Breakout! ride, character meet and greets and even new foods. The latter has made for some fun selfies on Instagram lately….
The most popular new superhero dining option is what Disney is calling “Groot Bread.” The park snack is a serving of sourdough bread shaped like Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy with olives as his eyes and jalapeno cheese for his bark.
