Disney recently was awarded several prestigious Halo Awards recognizing the company’s corporate social responsibility.
Disney received Halo Awards this year in recognition of both their “Hour of Code” and “Share Your Ears” campaigns as well as their free online tutorial “Moana: Wayfinding with Code.”
The Halo Awards are awarded by the Engage for Good organization for the best corporate social initiatives and cause marketing efforts. They are aimed at honoring “social good campaigns targeted at consumers and/or employees involving a company and a cause.”
The Halo Awards 2017 were awarded at the Engage for Good Conference in Chicago on June 1st. More information about Disney’s award-winning CSR programs can be found here.
