Disney to Live Stream ‘A Frozen Holiday Wish’ Cinderella Castle Lighting

Disney contests and sweepstakesAs Disney looks to expand their live stream presence in the parks, they are bringing some of the most amazing events and shows straight to your living room and their latest live stream is poised to be one of their best: The lighting of Cinderella’s Castle for Christmas.

One of the real highlights of Christmastime at Disney World is seeing Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom transformed into Elsa’s ice palace during the ‘A Frozen Holiday Wish’ show. The iconic castle transforms into the shimmering centerpiece of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It really is an amazing sight.

Disney will be live streaming one of the first Cinderella Castle lightings of this holiday season this Thursday (November 9th) at 8:10 EST as part of their #DisneyParksLIVE series. Here is the post on the Disney Parks Blog where you will be able to watch the show.

I am founder and editor of DisneyNews.us. My passion for all things Disney goes pretty far back but was deepened by two semi-recent developments: 1) The birth of my son (who is now 7 years old and can't get enough Disney); and 2) Disney’s purchase of Lucasfilm/Star Wars (did I mention I was a super Star Wars geek?) I recently came to the realization that I spent a significant portion of my day reading articles about Disney and watching it with my son, so it only made sense that I would start sharing some of what I read and see and building a little community around it. Other interests include Disney, Sports, 80's Nostalgia, LEGO, Star Wars and Tech Gadgets. Other sites include DMR and VideoGamesStats.com.
