Happy Birthday Star Wars!

Last Updated on: May 25th, 2016

It is hard to believe, but “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope” opened in theaters on May 25, 1977- 39 years ago today!

I was only a baby when the inaugural Star Wars movie was in theaters, but who would’ve thought on that day 39 years ago that the movie would turn into one of the largest franchises in history and would shape pop cultures for four decades, and counting.

To celebrate this anniversary, check out this amazing website/infographic from illustrator Martin Panchaud. It is  a 4,845 inch long graphic that tells the story of “A New Hope” in a very interesting and creative way.
