Hasbro May Make Jabba’s Sail Barge, But Only If Fans Support It

Hasbro has created a crowdfunding project that is sure to be interesting to old school Star Wars fans. As part of their HasLab platform, the toy-maker has proposed releasing an amazing replica of Jabba’s Sail Barge (The Khetanna) from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. But there is a catch…

In order to make Jabba’s Barge a reality, fans need to ‘back’ the project by pledging to buy the toy once it is released. Essentially Hasbro has created their own version of popular crowdfunding platforms Kickstarter and Indiegogo.

It is worth noting that the Jabba’s Sail Barge set won’t come cheap and it won’t come quickly. Backing this project will set you back $499.99 plus tax and is expected to ship 2/28/19.
