New Disney Springs Restaurant, STK Orlando, Opens This Month

It was announced today that one of the highly anticipated restaurants at the newly renovated Disney Springs will be opening this month. STK Orlando is slated to open on May 25th (that is shaping up to be a REALLY big week for openings and new attractions at Disney World) and reservations are now open.

STK Orlando is a steakhouse and lounge in The Landing section of Disney Springs. It is a more adult/upscale experience than your typical Disney World restaurant and it will not accept the Disney dining plan. Here is how they describe themselves:

“STK Orlando is not your traditional steakhouse. Don’t expect to find antiques on the walls or a stuffy atmosphere. We’re a modern, chic steakhouse for anyone who finds the traditional American steakhouse a tad on the boring side. With a trendy and stylish atmosphere, world-class service, and incredible food, STK is a perfect place for afternoon drinks or for a night out in Disney Springs ™.

Serving reimagined American cuisine for both lunch and dinner, STK Orlando provides a fun, high-energy atmosphere complete with an in-house DJ. With two floors of seating, as well as a beautiful outdoor patio that overlooks Disney Springs ™, you’ll get more than a culinary experience…You’ll get the perfect night out.”

If/when you are able to stop by STK Orlando at Disney Springs, be sure to leave a comment below and let us all know what you thought!

I am founder and editor of DisneyNews.us and DisneyEverything.com My passion for all things Disney goes pretty far back but was deepened by two semi-recent developments:1) The birth of my son (who is now 6 years old and can't get enough Disney); and 2) Disney’s purchase of Lucasfilm/Star Wars (did I mention I was a super Star Wars geek?)I recently came to the realization that I spent a significant portion of my day reading articles about Disney and watching it with my son, so it only made sense that I would start sharing some of what I read and see and building a little community around it.
