It has been long-rumored that Disney has been looking for a way to bring more rides and large attractions to Epcot. The overwhelming success of the Frozen ride in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion, may have added some momentum to this movement.
Our friends at WDW News Today are reporting today that Disney is seeking a permit to move a drainage canal behind Epcot’s Universe of Energy Pavilion, where the popular Ellen’s Energy Adventure is housed. The WDW News Today article has some great images of the area in question as well as a more technical breakdown of what Disney may be doing there. It is definitely worth a read.
