Could We Be Seeing Yoda in Star Wars: Episode 8?

Last Updated on: April 21st, 2021

Rumors are swirling about the possible appearance of puppeteer Frank Oz at the Pinewood Studios, where Star Wars: Episode VIII is being filmed. As you know, Oz was the puppeteer and voice behind everyone’s favorite mini-Jedi Yoda.

A Yoda appearance in the latest Star Wars Installment wouldn’t be too much of a stretch given that we now know he was originally supposed to make a cameo on The Force Awakens, and Oz was on set for that movie as well.

Presumably, a Yoda cameo in next year’s Episode VIII will come in the form of a ghost as he did after he died in Return of the Jedi.

This will be fun to watch as things progress with the filming of the new movie. I’ll be posting what I see and hear when I can.
