Who is Aslan?
Aslan is a character in the Chronicles of Narnia series of fantasy novels by C.S. Lewis, and in the films based on them. He is the lion and the king of the land of Narnia, and is considered the “true king” of the world. He is a powerful and wise figure. He is benevolent, compassionate and protective of all living creatures, and serves as a mentor and guide to the series’ main human characters, the Pevensie children. He is also known for his sacrifice to save Edmund Pevensie from the White Witch. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is the first movie of the Chronicles of Narnia series, Aslan is featured as the main protagonist, he guides the Pevensie siblings in defeating the White Witch and restoring peace to Narnia. The movie character was voiced by Liam Neeson.
