Last Updated on: December 27th, 2023

Looking for Interesting Disney Facts, Trivia and Stats? Look no further. Here are more than you will ever need to know!

It all started in 1923, when a bankrupt young animator moved out from Kansas City to Hollywood to join his brother to form a small cartoon studio. For as much of a visionary as he was known to be, never in his wildest dreams, could Walt Disney have imagined his new venture would become the international entertainment and media phenomenon it is today, bringing in tens of billions of dollars in revenue annually.

So just how big has Disney become after all these years? Here are over 500 of the more interesting Disney facts and statistics I was able to dig up recently. As this list has grown significantly in the year or so that I have been publishing it, I have begun to break out separate pages for groups of stats. You can find each of these new Disney facts and stats pages linked below in the table of contents.

There is sure to be more than a few things about Disney here that you didn’t know and even more that your friends won’t know, so consider this your little Disney trivia cheat sheet. As always, I will be adding more and updating these periodically as I find new stuff. Be sure to check back regularly.

Table of Contents:

Please note that some of these Disney facts are easier to find than others, so some of these are based on news reports and not official company tallies. All stats are linked to their source unless it was sent to me directly from the company. No stat listed should be considered in making any type of investment decision. In other words: This is the best I can find, but I don’t guarantee anything.

    About the Author

    Craig Smith
I am founder and editor of DisneyNews.us. My passion for all things Disney goes pretty far back to my first trip to Walt Disney World in the mid-80's. I have since returned to the magical place more than 20 times. I started this site when I came to the realization that I spent a significant portion of my day reading articles about Disney and watching Disney content with my 8-year old, so it made sense that I would start sharing some of what I read and see and building a little community around it. Other interests include 80's nostalgia, vintage toys, video games, LEGO, Star Wars and tech gadgets. Other site isDMR.
