Shanghai Disneyland is a theme park resort located in Pudong, Shanghai, China. It is owned and operated by the Walt Disney Company and opened in 2016, becoming the first Disney park in mainland China.
The resort includes Shanghai Disneyland Park, which features six themed lands, including Fantasyland, Adventure Isle, Tomorrowland, Treasure Cove, Mickey Avenue, and Gardens of Imagination. The park is home to many popular Disney attractions, such as Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure, Tron Lightcycle Power Run, and Soaring Over the Horizon.
In addition to the theme park, the resort also includes two themed hotels, Disneytown, a shopping, dining and entertainment district, and Wishing Star Park, a public park adjacent to the resort.
Shanghai Disneyland is one of the most popular tourist destinations in China and has welcomed millions of visitors since its opening.
