Hong Kong Disneyland is a theme park located in Penny’s Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It is the first Disney theme park located in China and is owned and operated by the Hong Kong International Theme Parks. The park features seven themed areas, including Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point and Toy Story Land.
The park features classic Disney attractions such as the “It’s a Small World” ride and Space Mountain, as well as several unique attractions and shows that are exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland. The park also features a variety of dining, shopping and entertainment options, as well as a range of accommodations including Disney-themed hotel rooms and suites.
The park opened on September 12, 2005 and while it is smaller than the other Disney theme parks, it continues to attract visitors from around the world with its unique blend of Disney magic and Chinese culture.
