Who is Eddie Valiant?
Eddie Valiant is a fictional character from the Disney live-action/animated film “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” (1988). He is a private detective in the 1940s, who is hired by Roger Rabbit, a cartoon character, to prove his innocence after he is accused of murder. Eddie is portrayed by actor Bob Hoskins and is known for his hard-drinking and hard-boiled nature. He is initially skeptical of Roger’s innocence, but eventually comes to believe in him and helps him clear his name.
