Disney’s 2026 Movie Lineup Is Stacked: Every Big Release to Watch Next Year

Last Updated on: December 26th, 2025

Disney’s 2026 Movie LineupIf you thought 2025 was a busy year for Disney at the box office, 2026 is shaping up to be even bigger. Between Pixar originals, a major Star Wars return to theaters, a new live-action remake, and Marvel’s next Avengers event, Disney’s release calendar has something for just about every kind of movie fan.

In my latest video, I start with a quick look back at the biggest Disney movie storylines of 2025-because they help explain why Disney is leaning hard into proven franchises while still making room for ambitious originals-then we jump straight into a release-date-order preview of every major Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel film currently dated for 2026.

Kicking things off on March 6, 2026 is Pixar’s Hoppers, a high-concept original that asks a classic Pixar-style question: what happens when people can “hop” into lifelike robotic animals and communicate with the animal world? If you love Pixar when it’s weird, funny, and surprisingly emotional, this one is a must-watch.

Next, May 22, 2026 brings The Mandalorian & Grogu-a huge moment for Star Wars, because it’s a streaming-era phenomenon moving to the big screen. Then Pixar returns on June 19, 2026 with Toy Story 5, reportedly centered on a very modern theme: toys facing off with tech as kids’ attention shifts in new directions.

July is where things get wild. On July 10, 2026, Disney releases the live-action Moana, bringing one of the most beloved modern animated adventures into a new format. Just a few weeks later, on July 31, 2026, Marvel ramps up the summer blockbuster season with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, a title that strongly suggests a fresh start for Peter Parker’s next chapter.

Thanksgiving week features Hexed on November 25, 2026, a new Disney Animation original that could be the surprise hit of the year. And then everything builds to Avengers: Doomsday on December 18, 2026, the biggest Marvel headline on the calendar and the movie most likely to dominate pop culture conversation.

This article is the quick overview-watch the video below for the full deep-dive, backstory, and what to look for with each release.
