Who is Banzai?
Banzai is a fictional character from the 1994 Disney animated film The Lion King. He is a hyena and a supporting antagonist in the film. He is a member of the trio of hyenas, Shenzi and Ed, who serve as the minions of the main antagonist, Scar. Banzai is the most aggressive and vocal of the three, and is shown to be the most eager to please Scar. He is voiced by the actor Cheech Marin.
