Who is Commander Lyle Rourke?
Commander Lyle Rourke is a fictional character from the 2001 Disney animated film “Atlantis: The Lost Empire.” He is the main antagonist of the film, and is the commander of the expedition to find the lost city of Atlantis. He is voiced by actor James Garner. Rourke is a former military officer turned mercenary, who is hired to lead the expedition, but ultimately reveals his true nature as a ruthless treasure seeker, willing to do whatever it takes to get his hands on the legendary power of Atlantis.
