Francisco is voiced by actor Hector Elizondo. He is shown as a loving and supportive father and ruler, who is willing to do anything to help his daughter and the people of Avalor, but also a fair and just king who is willing to listen to others and take their opinions into account. He first appeared in the 2016 pilot episode of the show.
