Who is Hoagy?
Hoagy is a character in the Disney film “Pete’s Dragon“. He is a street-performing magician and a close friend of the film’s protagonist, Pete. Hoagy is played by actor Red Buttons in the 1977 original film. Throughout the film, Hoagy provides comic relief and helps Pete as he tries to find a place where he belongs.
