Who is Lari?

Lari the Armadillo is a charming new character introduced for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World and Disneyland in 2024.

This mischievous yet quiet armadillo has quickly captured the hearts of Disney fans. Lari is known for his habit of “borrowing” items that don’t belong to him, which adds a playful element to the attraction’s storyline.

You can find Lari in various spots throughout the ride, often appearing where you least expect him. His figure is placed strategically around the flume area, contributing to the immersive environment of the bayou. He is accompanied by props like a red and green lantern and an umbrella made of bayou greens and florals, enhancing the scenic design of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure​​.

Lari resides near the Critter Co-Op, one of the gift shops for the ride, further embedding him into the fabric of the attraction’s narrative. As part of the whimsical critter cast, Lari’s presence brings an element of surprise and humor to guests as they help Tiana prepare for her grand celebration​
