Tiana's Bayou Adventure disney world magic kingdom

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, set to open in 2024 at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, is a highly anticipated attraction inspired by Disney’s beloved film “The Princess and the Frog.” This immersive ride takes guests on a journey through the vibrant and music-filled bayous of New Orleans. The story follows Princess Tiana, who has started Tiana’s Foods, an employee-owned cooperative. Alongside her family and friends, she revitalizes an old salt mine into a thriving farm, cultivating vegetables, spices, and herbs for her culinary creations.

The adventure begins with guests helping Tiana prepare for a grand celebration, but a mix-up with the party preparations sets the stage for an engaging quest. As visitors travel through the bayou, they encounter a variety of charming characters, both new and familiar, from the film. The ride is rich in musical heritage, featuring original songs as well as classic tunes from “The Princess and the Frog,” all arranged and produced by Grammy Award-winning musician PJ Morton.

The attraction promises a multisensory experience, with meticulous attention to the sounds of the bayou. Foley artists have crafted realistic bayou noises, including frogs, bugs, and birds, to enhance the immersive environment. Additionally, the queue area will feature music and audio that sets the scene even before guests board the ride.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure not only highlights Disney’s commitment to storytelling but also pays homage to the rich cultural and musical traditions of New Orleans, making it a must-visit attraction for Disney fans and newcomers alike.
