Who is Shenzi?

Shenzi is a character in Disney’s “The Lion King.” She is a hyena and one of the main antagonists of the film. Along with her accomplices Banzai and Ed, she is depicted as being a member of a pack of hyenas who serve as the minions of the film’s primary antagonist, Scar. Throughout the film, Shenzi is depicted as being cunning, ruthless, and sometimes even sadistic, and she plays a key role in Scar’s scheme to overthrow Mufasa and take over the Pride Lands. Despite her villainous ways, Shenzi is also depicted as having a wicked sense of humor, and her sarcastic one-liners provide some of the film’s most memorable moments.
