Who is Bonkers D. Bobcat?

Bonkers D. Bobcat is the main character in the animated TV show Bonkers, which aired in the early 1990s as part of Disney’s TV lineup.

Bonkers is a highly energetic and zany bobcat who used to be a famous cartoon star in the world of Toontown. However, his career in show business falls apart, leading him to take a new job as a police officer in the Hollywood Police Department, where he becomes a detective.

The series follows Bonkers as he partners with the gruff, no-nonsense Detective Lucky Piquel (and later Detective Miranda Wright) to solve crimes that often involve other animated characters or bizarre, toonish situations.
