Who is Chi-Fu?

Chi-Fu is a character in the 1998 Disney animated film “Mulan“. He is a court official and advisor to the Emperor of China. He is voiced by actor James Hong. He is shown to be a stereotypical and rigid Confucian bureaucrat, who is highly critical of Mulan’s actions and views her as a disgrace to her family and to China. He is also the main antagonist of the film, as he is the one who wants to execute Mulan for impersonating a soldier and tries to prevent her from saving China. He is also the one who doesn’t believe Mulan when she says the Huns are invading China, but he eventually changes his attitude towards Mulan, recognizing her bravery and strength in the end.
