Who is Cliff Secord/The Rocketeer?
Cliff Secord is a fictional character and the protagonist of the 1990 film “The Rocketeer.” He is a stunt pilot who discovers a stolen experimental jet pack that allows him to fly. He becomes embroiled in a battle between the FBI and a group of gangsters who are also after the jet pack.
The character was created by the writer and artist Dave Stevens, who first introduced the character in 1982 in his comic book series of the same name. The film was produced by Walt Disney Pictures, directed by Joe Johnston and starred Bill Campbell as Cliff Secord.
