Who is Davy Jones?

Davy Jones is the legendary captain of the Flying Dutchman, a ghostly and cursed ship that roams the seas. He is known for his distinctive appearance, which includes a tentacled face, a crab-like claw for one of his hands, and a barnacle-covered body. These physical attributes are the result of a curse placed upon him by the sea goddess Calypso after he failed to keep their love promise to one another.
