Who is Fagin?
Fagin is a fictional character in the Disney animated film “Oliver & Company.” He is a ruthless, greedy, and manipulative criminal mastermind who leads a group of stray dogs, including the main character, Oliver, in thieving and pickpocketing on the streets of New York City. Fagin is based on the character of the same name from Charles Dickens’ novel “Oliver Twist.” He is depicted as a greasy and unkempt man who is always looking for ways to make money, even if it means exploiting the dogs under his care. He is also shown to be abusive and cruel to the dogs and is ultimately portrayed as the main antagonist of the movie.
