Who is Frozone?
Frozone, also known as Lucius Best, is a superhero in The Incredibles (2004) and its sequel Incredibles 2 (2018), both directed by Brad Bird. He’s known for his superpower of ice manipulation, which allows him to freeze moisture in the air to create ice structures or immobilize enemies.
Frozone’s character has a calm, cool demeanor (fittingly) and is often portrayed as the voice of reason among his superhero friends, especially his best friend Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible).
Frozone’s most memorable scene in The Incredibles is when he’s hilariously searching for his super-suit before a battle, an iconic line where he calls out to his wife, “Honey, where’s my super-suit?” This moment has become a fan favorite for its humor and his wife’s unseen but clearly strong personality.
Samuel L. Jackson voices Frozone, bringing a unique charisma and intensity to the role. Jackson’s powerful and distinctive voice gives Frozone an iconic presence in the film, making him instantly recognizable and beloved by audiences.
