Who is Greasy the Weasel?
Greasy the Weasel is one of the main weasel henchmen in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, a 1988 film blending live-action with animation.
Greasy is part of the Toon Patrol, a group of sinister weasels who work as Judge Doom’s enforcers. Known for his slick, green attire, unkempt appearance, and slimy demeanor, Greasy lives up to his name. He has a gravelly voice and carries a switchblade, embodying the archetype of a sleazy gangster.
Greasy is portrayed as one of the more eager and unruly members of the gang, with a penchant for mischief and sadistic tendencies. He is quick to laugh at the suffering of others and is unrelentingly loyal to Judge Doom, assisting him in his cruel schemes against Toontown and Eddie Valiant, the film’s protagonist.
In the film, Greasy’s voice is performed by Charles Fleischer, who also voiced Roger Rabbit. Fleischer brought life to Greasy with a distinctive, raspy voice that added to the character’s creepy personality.
