Who is John Silver?

John Silver is a central character in Disney’s Treasure Planet, an animated sci-fi adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel, Treasure Island.

The film, which reimagines the story with a futuristic, space-based twist, portrays Silver as a cyborg with a magnetic personality and a complex moral compass. He is both the cook and the leader of the crew of pirates aboard the spaceship, RLS Legacy, aiming to uncover the legendary Treasure Planet.
