Who is Johnny Tremain?
Johnny Tremain is a fictional character from the Disney film “Johnny Tremain” (1957) which is based on the novel of the same name by Esther Forbes. He is the main character of the story, a young apprentice silversmith who lives in Boston in the years leading up to the American Revolution. He becomes involved with the Sons of Liberty, a group of colonists who are fighting for independence from Great Britain. He is portrayed by actor Hal Stalmaster.
