Who is Namaari ?

Namaari is a key character in Disney’s animated film “Raya and the Last Dragon,” released in 2021. She is portrayed as a fierce and skilled warrior from the Fang tribe, one of the five tribes of the fictional land of Kumandra. Namaari is initially introduced as an antagonist to the protagonist Raya, as their tribes have differing views on how to protect their land from an ancient evil force known as the Druun. The rivalry between Raya and Namaari is further intensified when a confrontation between them leads to the shattering of a magical gem that held the Druun at bay, causing the evil force to return and threaten their world.
