Who is Peanut Otter?

Peanut Otter is a central character in the animated children’s series PB&J Otter, which aired on Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney block from 1998 to 2000. As the eldest of the Otter siblings at eight years old, Peanut is known for his intelligence, loyalty, and occasional reluctance to dance, particularly when it comes to the “Noodle Dance,” though he often participates nonetheless.

He is best friends with Munchy Beaver and Flick Duck, sharing a love for comic books, especially the “Mallard Man” series.

Peanut’s character design features a red otter wearing white socks and brown loafers, with visible whiskers and a belly button, distinguishing him from his siblings.

Throughout the series, Peanut often collaborates with his younger sisters, Jelly and Butter, embarking on various adventures around their home in Lake Hoohaw. Despite his initial hesitation towards dancing, he joins in the Noodle Dance, a recurring problem-solving activity in the show.

Peanut Otter was voiced by Adam Rose during the original run of the series.
