Who is Smarty the Weasel?

Smarty the Weasel is a memorable character from Disney’s 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

As a member of the comically sinister Toon Patrol, Smarty is the de facto leader of a gang of anthropomorphic weasels who serve as henchmen to the film’s antagonist, Judge Doom. With a sarcastic and cocky demeanor, Smarty is known for his sharp wit, quick insults, and ever-present bowler hat. His distinctive laugh and slightly unhinged personality add to the gang’s chaotic energy, making him one of the more standout characters among the weasels.

Like the other members of the Toon Patrol, Smarty’s personality is a dark parody of cartoon slapstick, blending comedic antics with a threatening edge.
