Who is Steve?
Steve is a minor character in Disney-Pixar’s animated film “Up,” which was released in 2009. He is a talking dog who is a member of the pack of talking dogs led by Alpha, a Doberman Pinscher.
In the film, Steve and the other talking dogs are equipped with special collars that allow them to communicate verbally through a device called the “voice box.” These collars are created by the film’s antagonist, Charles Muntz, in his pursuit of finding a rare bird species.
Steve, like the other talking dogs, plays a comedic role in the film. He often gets distracted by squirrels and exhibits quirky canine behavior. His interactions with the film’s human characters, particularly Carl Fredricksen and Russell, lead to humorous moments.
