Who is Stretch?
Stretch is a character in Disney-Pixar’s animated film “Toy Story 3,” released in 2010. She is a plush purple octopus toy and is one of the toys owned by the film’s antagonist, Lotso Huggin’ Bear, at Sunnyside Daycare.
Stretch is known for her laid-back and sarcastic personality. She often serves as one of Lotso’s enforcers among the toys at Sunnyside, ensuring that the rules set by Lotso are followed. Despite her tough exterior, Stretch is not entirely mean-spirited and is primarily loyal to Lotso.
In the film, Stretch and her fellow daycare toys initially appear welcoming to Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the other toys from Andy’s room. However, they soon realize the harsh rules and conditions at Sunnyside under Lotso’s leadership. This leads to a series of events as the toys attempt to escape and return to Andy’s house.
