Who is Thunderclap?
Thunderclap is a character from Disney-Pixar’s animated film “The Good Dinosaur,” which was released in 2015. In the film, Thunderclap is not a dinosaur but rather a pterosaur, a type of flying reptile from the Late Cretaceous period.
Thunderclap is the leader of a group of pterosaurs known as the “Pterodactyls.” These creatures are depicted as opportunistic scavengers in the film. Thunderclap is voiced by actor Steve Zahn, and his character is known for his sharp beak, intimidating appearance, and menacing demeanor.
Thunderclap and his pterosaur gang play a supporting antagonistic role in the movie. They encounter the film’s protagonist, Arlo, a young Apatosaurus, and Spot, a human boy, during their journey through the prehistoric landscape. Thunderclap and his gang initially appear friendly but reveal their true intentions when they express their desire to feed on Arlo and Spot.
