We learned back in 2016 that Disney was in talks with director Gary Marshall about creating a third installment of the popular Princess Diaries series of films. Despite Marshall’s passing later in 2016, in January 2019, series star Anne Hathaway revealed that there will indeed be a Princess Diaries 3.
Hathaway also confirmed that co-star Julie Andrews is also interested in returning in her role as Queen Clarisse Renaldi.
That is about all we currently know about Princess Diaries 3 at the moment. As always, we will be adding to and updating this post as soon as more details about the movie emerge.
