Overview
Circle with Disney is a parental control device and app that allows parents to manage and monitor their children’s internet usage across all devices connected to the home network. The device was developed by Circle Media Labs, Inc., and initially branded in collaboration with Disney. It helps parents set time limits, filter content, and track usage for each connected device through a simple interface on the Circle app.
In early 2020, Circle Media Labs, Inc. was acquired by Smith Micro Software, Inc. The branding of the device has since shifted away from Disney, especially with the introduction of the second-generation device, Circle Home Plus. While the original Circle with Disney hardware continued to be supported, the MyCircle app and Circle Go were discontinued at the end of 2020. The latest Circle Parental Controls app now offers enhanced features for monitoring and managing internet usage both at home and on the go.
