The game presents a narrative where Peter Parker and Miles Morales face formidable threats, including Venom and a dangerous new symbiote, as they strive to save the city and the people they care about. The gameplay is designed from a third person perspective and is touted to be a single-player game.

Furthermore, the game supports vibration function and trigger effect features via the DualSense wireless controller. It also has a Game Help feature and includes in-game purchases.

This game is building on the success of its predecessors, Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018) and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020) and is part of the broader Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise.
